Sai, appearing in Naruto Shippuden episode 32, is a member of Team Kakashi, replacing Sasuke Uchiha. Recruited from the Anbu's Root division, Sai's initial purpose was to monitor Naruto Uzumaki and, if necessary, eliminate him.
